german open 2025
Oldenburg
The Quooker PPP German Open will take place from May 29 to June 01, 2025 in Oldenburg (Olbg). The PPP base Oldenburg and the Hundsmühler TV are very happy to be able to organize this great event with the PPP Germany e.V.. The venue will be the centrally located sports halls at Flötenteich in the Nadorst district. The well-equipped sports facility was only completed this year and its two modern sports halls will offer plenty of space for hosting our international open German table tennis championships for people with Parkinson’s disease.
The team from PPP Deutschland e.V. and Hundsmühler TV e.V. as the organizing club have a lot of experience and routine in planning and implementing large table tennis tournaments. With the Lord Mayor of Oldenburg, Jürgen Krogmann, as patron of this event, a strong team is ready to make this GOOL an unforgettable event.
We are looking forward to 230 participants who will compete in three classes in singles, doubles and mixed. We will publish the announcement here on 27.12.2024. At the same time, the application period begins, which ends on 05.01.2025 23:59.
We will of course take care of your physical well-being during GOOL2025. Hotel rooms have already been reserved, a great players’ party has been organized at CORE in Oldenburg and a great supporting program has been prepared to make you feel right at home in Oldenburg (Oldg). You will find out more about this with the starting place allocation, which will be completed by 12.01.2025.
Experienced players agree to look after these foreign participants and first-time participants before and during GOOL2025, provide assistance, answer questions or simply be there to make access to the tournament and the Parkinson family easier. In addition to the city of Oldenburg and the VWG, numerous institutions and companies are already supporting this event. In addition to the opportunity for social commitment, there are a number of other good arguments for sponsorship. The event will be widely publicized through a livestream and social media publications as well as coverage by television and the press – thus giving our sponsors a high level of visibility. We are looking forward to this great opportunity to make the city of Oldenburg, table tennis and Parkinson’s disease better known and to get those affected from the sofa to the table tennis table.
Let’s go to Oldenburg…
